Biology @ Key Stage Five
Biology AS and A2 have 3 modules of study to complete. In year 12 cells, genetic engineering and physiology are the topics while in year 13 coordination, environment and behaviour are the main themes. Both As and A2 have coursework investigations.
A level biology covers the cutting edge of current scientific research. The qualification can lead to work inmost areas of science from medicine to conversation. Various trips are organised to complement the topics studied.
